I knew I'd heard of a similar problem! The other thing I was thinking is
the
horn wire could be loose and jiggles to sound the horn. Of course the
horn "button" wouldn't sound it then since it'd be disconnected. Dad's
pu did an odd thing before it was parked (I haven't gotten to it since it's
running again either). Hit the horn and the GP light would come on but
no horn! I just pulled the horn relay at the time and it got parked before
I got it fixed. One more thing for the to-do list!
