[Vwdiesel] Clutch Noise Problem

I don't think that my problem is related to these parts, but I will
check again.  Is the pushrod straight enough, if it appears straight
when one sights along it, or does it have to roll smoothly on a
surface plate?


  I've always found it easiest to just roll it on the work surface of the 
drill 
press, to check for straight.  I've had to replace a quarter to half of the 
ones 
I've worked on due to being bent or having flattened ends.
