  That's about what my Jetta's ran.  It was JUST low enough to set the
buzzer off fairly regularly.  This was on a complete rebuild save for the
oil pump.  The rebuild was needed because of a self destructed thrust
bearing surface on the crank.  It just didn't click that the pump ran all
that metal through itself.  DUH!  Since I had to replace it, I used a 36mm
gear pump and have never heard from the buzzer since.  Of course
that's when the original smoking problem, apparently from a bad hone
job, started. (And now seems to be all better, finally.)  :)
