[Vwdiesel] Crappy fuel? (was Touareg)

It's no "design flaw" except for the fact that a diesel motor was never
intended to have an EGR or CCV. But thanks to the EPA, diesels have to have
them now.

EGR and CCV are but two things the EPA requires that actually HARM the
motor. The EPA could care less about how long the motor lasts as long as it
pollutes less.

Another example is the new Honda's and Ford car's using 5w-20 oil. That's
way too thin of an oil for virtually any climate, unless you live in the
Arctic. Think those cars will live past 100k miles? HAH! But it allows
the cars to pollute less, so that's the weight of oil they're using.

And AFAIK, all TDI's sold everywhere in the world, have to use the EGR and
CCV.
