Just a few after thoughts. IF the previous owner "PO" was so crazy as=
to put a flywheel on wrong !!!! what else might he have done ???. So r=
emove your outlet Banjo (hang on to the washers) and inspect it with a m=
agnifier. It must have a cindered bronze screen inside and a very fine hol=
e in the stem " The orifice " a very important little hole for timing of=
the pump. The vane pump pressure and the hole together does your dynamic t=
iming. Much like the flyweights and vacuum did on old cars. Usually they a=
re stamped "OUT" ----they can be mixed up with inlet banjos. Internal p=
ump pressure would be so low that the injection piston would be starved =
of fuel. Also make sure the inlet banjo is not stamped "OUT". Some day (may=
be today) I will reverse the two banjos on the engine I have on the test-st=
and. ---Does anyone know why I can not get "BON-AMI" cleanser in this tow=
n ??? was going to hone the test engine. Hagar.
