Chris:

You are in Texas, right?  I'd use the Redline MT-90.
That's what I use and I'm in a climate that gets
colder, and not quite as hot (Northern Virginia). I
really eases shifting over the mineral gear lube that
VW calls for. Also, I think the fuel economy increases
just a tad.

I'd reserve the thinner Redline MTL for really cold
climates.

You can mail order this stuff. Redline has a web site
and lists their distributors. W/ shipping it comes to
about $11 per quart and 2 quarts will fill it nicely
(with none left over).
