Actually, I plan on using GL-4 specific Amsoil 80w-90 in my Jetta when I
change the fluid out at 240k miles.  };-)

At 100k miles I will probably change the fluid in my Golf and will probably
use Redline MT-90 75w-90.  Only because it's GL-4 specific and my Golf uses
GL-4 75w-90 fluid.  I fear Amsoil 80w-90 will make the shifts too stiff in
the winter and Amsoil's 75w-90 is not GL-4 specific.  It's rated GL-2
through GL-5.  Amsoil claims it's won't damage GL-4 transmissions like other
GL-5 fluids can.  But I'm not taking any chances.
