Yes - there are several sources for "e-code" lights to fit your car. They
aren't cheap, but well worth it if you do any driving at night, especially
in animal alley. The beam pattern is far superior to the DOT lights. This
modification will technically make your car fail inspection, but I have
never seen any garage check headlights. They do lack the 3 little tits
required for headlight aimers, which is one reason they'd fail.
The A4 headlights have the fogs incorporated into them, if you have fogs.
The e-codes are available either way, I think. I'd go for the ones that have
them.
I've had a set on my A3 Jetta for almost a year, and LOVE them! Wouldn't go
back to the sucking black holes that are DOT lights for a minute. At least
the A3 DOTs were better than the A2 DOTs - those sucked in more light than
they put out, I think! :-))

replacements ?

Not sure, sorry. I have dealt with Potterman at Virtual World
http://www.parts4vws.com/index.asp ) for brakes and have been very pleased.
I don't have rear disks, though.
The OEM rear pads wear very quickly, it is a common problem with them due to
soft brake pad material meant to stop squeaks.
