Yea, Virginia has yearly safety inspections. Most
times the inspector just checks to see if Hi/Lo beams
work. Sometimes they check the output/aimimg by moving
a wheeled light checker infront of the beam. I've
never in my life ever seen anything placed on those
tits on the light lenses.

Yea, the A-2 headlights suck. I bought new ones to
replace the sandblasted lenses and they suck just as
much! Years ago I installed a $60 or so set of Bosch
fog light (hang down from the front bumper) that
vastly improves side and some front lighting. I have
them on whenever the headlights are on. No one ever
flashes their brights at me, either.
