Yes LOREN  , it was designed for use on Aluminium and Magnesium  .Works lik=
e stink on Zinc, Cadmium etc ---it sticks like poo poo to blankets-- on Kof=
feecups, Spectacles  and kitchenfloors -yeiks. ---worlds best coating accor=
ding to Hagar.Dryes  FAST   tough as anything. Used on Boeing 747 and the l=
ikes.
Dollar for dollar no better coating for steel ever exsisted than Red Lead p=
rimer.(can't get no more).Zinc chromate is a partly Phenolic Resin ointment=

ors.It comes as a concentrate so it  works as a seamcompound -- as well .Ve=
ry expensive and uses horrible solvents.So use lots of ventilation or mask.=
