[Vwdiesel] Timing belt on a 1.9NA

The 1.9 belt is longer!!! Overland sells a kit to allow the 1.9 to
replace a 1.6. The 1.9 block is taller. This means that the crank and
cam gears are farther apart so a longer belt is used, 2 more teeth. I
think Overlands kit has a different injection pump gear or pump mounting
bracket but that is just a guess. When I briefly put a 1.6 pump on one
of my 1.9TD motors just for pump testing the gear did not line up with
the belt fully. It still worked but I don't think I would want to run
one that way permanently.


1.6 diesel belt  p.n.: 068 109 119 E (z=135)
1.9 diesel belt  pn: 028 109 119 P (z=137)

The z# is the teeth count.
