  I'd expect it to be a "chevron" seal similar to on the injector pump.  I
went
through a similar thing on my 6.2 van.  Pump was puking fluid.  They use a
HUGE pump to accommodate the brakes as well. It only costs about double,
of a regular pump so it's about the same price as a VW/Audi pump. I got a
seal kit for about $20 and it never leaked a drop since.  :)  It used a
"chevron"
seal for the input shaft.
