[Vwdiesel] Nasty dirty fuel tank

The gunk in the tank should come out in clumps.

A cheap, plastic screen type in-line filter will do 99% of the filtering
here. Install it before the main filter. These cost about a $1. You will
need to change it every couple of days for sure. As the clumps work out,
the filter changing should get less frequent.

Mercedes uses this set up from the factory.

Once this pre-filter stays relatively clean, then change out the main
filter and be done with it.
