[Vwdiesel] Oil Pressure gauges

the motor ran about 55-70psi when on the
road.  5 bar I feel is to low for 1.6TD motor, that is
only 73.5 psi.


  Don't forget it wasn't too long ago that we drove domestic cars where a 
40 to 60psi oil pressure was considered excellent.  There's really no need 
for the high oil pressure we have in these cars.  The thing is we know what 
they tend to run at so a lower pressure brings thoughts of bad bearings 
and panic.  :o  If the pumps put out sufficient volume at 60 psi and didn't 
drop much with warm oil then 40 to 60 would be and seem, sufficient.  :)
  Just a matter of what is considered "normal".
