talking about the "burn quality" in a diesel using oil.  You never
answered that question Chris.


  Frankly the "burn quality" of an oil isn't/shouldn't be relevant unless 
you're wanting to use it as an emergency fuel. Even then it's an 
EMERGENCY.  It's getting esoteric IMO.  It's supposed to be a 
lube not a fuel (in the crankcase).  If you're burning THAT much of 
it that it's burn quality is a concern, you NEED to overhaul or replace.
