Well, the fuel gauge finally got low enough to justify putting in some more 
fuel.  I aveaged 24.4mpg.  This was all city driving, short trips, idling down 
egt's and significant warm-ups (it's been getting below 0°F at night here-no 
block heater yet).  I will rework the injectors as the next step.  When 
starting it cold, it fires right up.  Approx. 5 seconds later it chug, chug, chugs 
and sometimes stalls.  I imagine that coincides with the glow plugs shutting 
off.  I also imagine a fairly poor spray pattern on injectors.  Also, when cold 
it will not rev up without significant missing.  I have just been shutting it 
off and re-glowing it then starting it again.  After a coupla times it runs 
fine.  As I said, injectors are next.
