  Fair has NOTHING to do with it.  It's whether the company considers it a 
perk so to speak or theft. Since you're not being prosceuted or threatened 
with it, try suggesting to your boss that it's a perk.  Just because the 
whiner doesn't have a plug to plug his car into isn't your fault.  Probably 
thinks somehow you're driving an electric car and "filling up" for the drive 
home!  Another suggestion is that you offer to use a timer so it's only 
turned on for a half hour or hour before time to go.  It's sickening seeing 
whiners like this running the company.  It's not something they can sue 
over anyway.
