[Vwdiesel] Home heating fuel instead of diesel?

If I'm not mistaken off road diesel sold to farmers is 
about the cost of home heating oil and I was told still had the higher 
sulphur content (lubricant) of the good old diesel fuel before it was 
reformulated a few years ago. I could be wrong though.


  Not sure but I think off-road comes in high and low sulfur.  Seems like 
I've heard that option mentioned for a local card-lock outfit around here.
   20 years ago all the diesel was that nice, amber color.   #1 stayed 
that way for a while after #2 turned green and started smelling a little 
funny.  Now all the gas seems to smell like recycled motor oil.  Puwee!
