[Vwdiesel] Turbo Diesel Rabbit in Japan

I am 50 km North of Kobe. This part of Japan is full of 
mountains and they love to put highways and railroads 
through them.  This makes for some very impressive 
highways. I figure for every road tunnel we have in the US 
they build 50.

Yes. I suspect that tariffs explain the high price.

It is my understanding that I can ship stuff to Japan and 
not be effected by tariffs if it is not for resale and 
just a package shipped to someone.

My original question is more about potential problems 
because the Japanese TD engines might be different in some 
way.
