Ya I know all about Ohms law...I understand why it wont work..

I think Im in good shape except for the starter problem...once I fix that
Ill be laughing.

Next year Ill think about changing the block heater for a bigger one...

Ill try some of your ideas Hagar...along with some others suggested on the
board.

I like the idea of the Cetane booster too.

Thanks again.

This guy Ohm's is screwing things up with his LAW especially
the square one. -- Power in Watts = E squared over R .
get it Kevin Jack ? half the voltage 1/4 the power on your heater
That's why you can not get it to work at 12 Volts.

Comes to about 17 Watts.. Further the standard heater is what I
call an overnight heater. It is that slow at minus 35C. The fact that you
can
start at minus 15 C is good news. So right off the bat locate a 1500W
heater and get a 250 foot roll of 3 X 18 cabtire.If you can only get a
1000W one that's ok too. Get the type that circulates the coolant.Do
not fail to clean and lubricate battery connections.

Next engine I do will have 3 heaters installed. Read my lips.

There are also 24Volt heaters available. (12 V ?)
Hagar.
