This is good information.
I really like the driveability of the 91, particularily with the
steering, which is a breeze to setup perfectly. (Don't get me
going on the high caster fixed settings of my 2003 Jetta!)
So I'm exploring my options. If I could convert to a TD
easily, I might. This spring I pull the head, and disassemble
looking for a crack in the exterior cooling jacket. The
engine has 200K+.
The prospect of less noise at 50-75 MPH is very attractive.
