[Vwdiesel] Starting with Bad Relay

I just thought I would share an old trick.  If the relay / fuse/ ignition
switch are conspiring against starting your diesel in cold WX, you 
might consider the following.  Tried and proven, many times.

Take 3/8" screwdriver, and firmly place on glow plug for #4 cylinder.
Connect jumper cable from screadriver to battery.  Glow for the 
right length of time (45 sec in despirate times).  Disconnect
jumper, and run into car and crank.

If you have a concurrent starter motor problem, glow plug a little 
longer, and hop in the car, rolling it down the hill and pop the clutch.
(Been there with double trouble.)
