PS: it is hard slugging for an old geezer --but we are making progress.
Valley Injection
informed me that the Rabbit pumps can not be reset for industrial use.But a
diehard
experimenter can make them work.

Interesting, considering that the local Bosch shop tells me they can change
them over to constant speed easily enough. Wonder what It all involves...
I'll ask next time I'm there and get back to you on that. I want to stick
this 1.6 na that is cluttering my shop to a hobart 300amp welder that
currently has a willys engine. I have a much better home for the willys
than in a welder....
Just went down to look at governor on Rover
"Annabelle" --sure is fancy , brass plate and all. ISO-Speedic-Co Ltd
Warwick England.
Maybe I had a governor with balls in oil all along. ?
_____
Who knows. Last bendix governor I had anything to do with was electric and
I would have appreciated to see the designer of that catastrophe with his
balls in more than oil... It worked so well it should have been made by
Lucas... designed by some scurvy nit that paid little attention to basic
rules like "thou shalt not provide openings for dust to mix with thy oil"
and my personal favorite "things rust, always"
