The starter on my Caddy has been dragging lately and really putting a
drag on the battery. In fact, the battery had to be replaced because
under load it tested bad. Anyway, pulled the starter today and opened
it up. Spent about an hour cleaning up dried gunk, cleaning off rust
with some 1000 grit paper and lubricating moving parts. Put it back in
the car and 'Viola" it really spins up really fast. Now if I can just
get that timing set right. Hayden
