[Vwdiesel] piston meets combustion chamber plug

ouch!!

that looks pretty bad, unfortunately. it might be
repairable, but probably borderline if anything. i
would take it to a quality machine shop and have them
measure it to see if they can do anything with it.
boring it oversize and resurfacing the top might take
care of it, but i wouldn't count on it.

i don't think that you can do anything with it without
pulling the block from the car. that cylinder wall is
just too scored. that cylinder would never seal right.
