Well, last night I put it all back together. Everything seems to be working
fine but...

it seems I may have changed this seal by accident, because the initial
"highway hum" that caused me to change the CV joint in the first place is
still there. It need to be changed anyway though...

The hum gets louder with speed and does not change with gears, so I figure
it must be one of the following things:

 -CV joint (hardly....its brand new)
-wheel bearing (seems fine....nice and solid)
-wind noise (my front bumper curves inward (accident) and leaves the outer
half of the tire exposed to wind. The sound could be the wind blowing over
the holes in the wheels???)
-Tire noise (brand new 4 season tires....and I have no plastic inner fender
on this side????)
-differential (shouldnt be....now its full of fluid unless its damaged?)

What do you think??? Which one seems most likely?

NAte...I also noticed the clip deforming. Strange.....

Still took me an hour to get on....

Thanks again.
