I second Loren --- when I first started to fool around with these little
sauerkraut delights Loren said " CHANGE NOZZLES " they are cheap (2.50 ?)
a piece. My bunny was purring like a kitten but I did just that anyway.. WHY ?
because a fella down the street had a set for sale and he had sold his VW.
That was the 1984 Rabbit turbo 1.6L. The nozzles are so easy to change that
I would never hesitate in the future. Nozzles for my 1982 Rabbit 1.6L NA
wound up costing me 72 dollars Canadian ---and worth every penny.
In the testing machine the difference will show in repeatability in cracking
pressure.
Did I clean and install old nozzles first ? ? yes , but that is a lot of work --
and I would still not know how many miles on nozzles. Now I know exactly.
Hagar.
PS : Funny some really good looking nozzles failed miserably in test rig.
" if it aint broke , don't fix it " ? yeah let it break.
