Sure way to check is to remove rocker[ er cam] cover. undo no. 1 fuel line at injector. Switch on ignition [fuel solenoid open] Rotate engine by hand[spanner] and then pulse of fuel will come out when cam lobes are pointing away from cam follower/shim...If it squirts when lobes are touching c-f/shim then you have achieved 180 deg error...:op
