Ok I'll leave the Bon-Ami in the kitchen for now. I have the archives from

Injection timing --(Hillbilly tuning 1980 to 86 Bosch ) My first
question. This seems to address fueling and fuel timing problems. Mine
still seems to be burning oil. I am not challenging, just trying to
understand. It is down 1/2 quart in the 150 miles since I changed it.
(Rotella 15-40) I ran it pretty hard for the first 30 miles on new oil and
filter then changed oil and filter since I read somewhere that in the first
few miles of seating the new rings is when you will get the crap in your
oil so it is a good idea to change it soon after. I am not leaking any oil
so it must be what is making all the smoke? Does improper fueling wash the
cylinder causing the oil to burn off? I am plenty willing to mark and
adjust the pump a little at a time to see what happens. I do have that
procedure down now. I added a o.p. gauge off the head sensor. Cold it has
60 to 70 #, buy the time it gets good and warm is down to 5 -10 # which I
read is not that uncommon.

Flywheel mark is set right to tdc on #1 and pump index mark is lined up.

Have not done that and not sure how.
