[Vwdiesel] 1.6 diesel genreator

I pulled the head off the junk motor that came out of my '83 diesel vanagon.  
It had a tossed rod.  The head seams fine.  The one errant piston had the 
impression of the head on its crown, but both of those valves were closed at the 
time.  What happened to Murphy with that one?  Anyway, a friend who is also 
into these wonderful motors and vehicles happens to have a block with a junk 
head.  Said I could have it FREE.  Seems like I will have myself a very 
inexpensive motor.  I've been thinking "what should I do with an extra motor?"  My 
dream is to make it into my industrial motor.  Run it on WVO.  Hook it up to a 
generator to power my house and even get a good check from Az. Power Supply every 
month instead of a bill.  Use the hot engine coolant to heat the house and 
hot water.  Any thoughts would be welcome.  Serious #1 VW diesel Fan.  This is 
more than just a dream.
