Also, on all the relays, before installing, drill or grind two small
weep holes in the bottom corners of the can that covers the relay. This
will allow any water that might get into the relay to drain out and let
the relay insides dry out. Since they sit upside down and at an angle,
2 of the 4 sit lower than the other two. Mark those corners and then
touch them to a grinding wheel briefly to wear through the material to
make a hole or use a snall (1/8" or smaller) drill bit from the inside
to make the week holes.
Even though you may not have a leak now, you might in the future and
once you fill a relay up with water for a few days, it can be ruined.
Two small weep holes can save a $40 relay from damage.
