[Vwdiesel] Radiator Fan Not Getting Power

Last night I was checking for leaks on the water pump I replaced. I had
the Rabbit running and noticed that the fan did not turn about the time
it usually does. I checked the temp gauge and it was a little higher
than normal so I shut it down. I took a wire, disconnected the connector
to the fan and jumpered it to the battery and it worked. Where should I
look? Fuse, temp switch. It was late and I did not do anything. One
other note. I noticed (2)two, two pin connectors that were not connected
to anything dangling behind the alternator. One had a pink and purple
wire the other I can't remember right now.
