[Vwdiesel] Honing advice needed!

I'm thinking of a soaking in solvent, then a citrus engine cleaner (crappy 
tire spray 
can), then a pressure washing, followed by brake cleaner and drying. What do 
you 
think?


  I quite often let them sit a day or two for the oil to drain well and then 
take it to the local "wand type" car wash and hose away!  Just wear 
your rain gear for the splashback!
