[Vwdiesel] Nicks supersmoker problem found

Well the machine shop is completely rebuilding my head for free. I didn't do
that because it was replace 50k miles ago by PO and thought it was good.
Since it skipped timing it needs new valves. So that is a freebee for me. As
to rehoneing the cylinders can I do that with it still in the car and wash
them down with the crank still in? Didn't think I could and get all the
water on the crank and bearings. There shouldn't be a ridge since it only
has 5K on the rebore, at least there isn't any from what I can tell but will
know for sure once I get the carbon off. I'm putting the rings on this time
and will be very careful and you can count on the gaps being staggered. I
also had the injectors checked and they are good. Now to start cleaning up
the bores and pistons.
