ALL you ever need to know about VW diesel compression  and troubleshooting --can be found
right here.--- First let us in on some details ---Geographic area and are you diesel-smart
with tools ?.Start with reading Lorens threads in ARCHIVES. --he is our VW diesel mechanic
(resident)----If he say --get NEW nozzles ?  I second that.---(never mind compression).

As to finding out why compression on ONE cylinder is LOW  ?   ---simple. Do another test
with a leak-down tester.   IF you can not get your hands on one ?--make one.

Talk to someone at the local  Airport.

To test # 4 ?    ---piece of Apple Pie----inject air at GLOWPLUG ----     here is how I do
it :  Air-in at glowplug  ---dish-soap in coolant (Dawn  works)  --     NEXT : If you
never saw The first Harry Potter Movie ? --rent it and watch----because this forum is
Hogwarts of VW Diesel Magic ---and Magic works ---NO SHIT.---take it from me ----73 years
