[Vwdiesel] IP on NA Slow Deceleration Response

  I've seen two cases of something similar but don't sound 
exactly like yours.  If the idle is set too high it's like you 
go into a different "range" and it's really slow to drop back 
into the idle range.
  The other was on my Rabbit but the throttle would actually 
stick.  Even after sending it in for a rebuild but it didn't reappear 
until a few months after getting that done. :-P  It'd never do it 
while looking for it.  A little WD-40 on the throttle shaft would 
fix it for a few days or weeks.  There's a little tab or two from 
a spring end or something.  I found that wiring one of them to 
one direction solved the problem.  Didn't make sense but it 
worked.
