Ah, yes, the socialist batle cry.
who do you think is paying the bulk of the income tax now? The poor?
The problem is size and efficiency of government.
Government is an economic monster the ordinary citizen has allowed to grow
unchecked through apathy.
Government competely lacks efficiency.
Pouring more money on it won't fix it, that's like trying to smother a fire
with gasoline.  It worked for some, but everyone gets to be the lowest
common denominator, like the USSR, except for the ruling class.
