[Vwdiesel] Blotter testing and filter surgery

Catching up on the recent oil thread made me run out and cut open the 
filter from my first oil change after rebuild. Filter was a Bosch, nicely made 
inside, and appears very clean still, just a few visible flecks of metal and 
the odd black bit. The oil was barely dirty (only 250 kms or so), but I had 
saved some, so I did a blotter test as well. Not sure what to look for, but I'll 
see in a few days how it compares to the oil in it now (at ~2000km).
