[Vwdiesel] Not being free to buy the cars we want

There are some debatable comments "slipped in" here.  Are we going to open the list 
to political discourse? The comment, "Most" of Europe is under some sort of communist 
type of rule (if you're going by square mile).  Not very free.", is one.  I'm a 
progressive sort, but I know there are many right wing conservatives on this list.  
It is ripe ground for political disagreement.  What say?
