This statement makes me keep wondering... If there are ANY bubbles
then they could become bigger under the right conditions. Hopefully you
simply mean that there are none big enough to notice rather than just
nothing all that big. :-)
I found this out on my Rabbit way back when I first got it. It was the
first car on the place to freeze up in cold weather. Turned out a less
than tight hose clamp (not loose) was allowing small, unnoticed bubbles
in the line. When the fuel would thicken a little, enough air would pull
in to drop the car to an idle. After tightening that, it became the MOST
cold tolerant diesel on the place and picked up a couple hp to boot! :-)
