[Vwdiesel] Strange IP Problem

Again, the car idles smoothly when this happens, and it has absolutely
no problem developing power.  My 17 yo daughter, who drives the car also,
says "it's not a problem, when it happens, I just downshift, and it
goes away."  The fact that it can develop full power within seconds 
either side of these episodes, doesn't have me pushing fuel.  I did 
consider fuel filter.  Mostly because I seldom change it.  The fuel
that goes into the car is triple filtered.  When I have to change the
fuel filters, I tend to notice it on extremely cold mornings, when
running WOT, which is the norm going to work each day.  The last fuel
filter was 5kmiles ago, which is young.

To answer the bubbles issue...stopped, there will sometimes be 
bubble(s) which have the collective volume of a wooden pencil eraser,
or less.  When running, the lines are clear.  Admittedly, I can't 
check the lines when these episodes happen, because they are 
transient.  Again, the fact that WOT operation shows no sign of fuel 
starvation, leads me to believe that this is not a flow issue.

The most interesting aspect of this, is that it only happens on a
shift.  Thus far.  It's now happening 2 to 4 times a day, driving about
150 miles a day.
