A few people might have allowed Svend to annoy them. Pity. I kind of looked 
forward to what he had to say, even if it did get off the wall.  Doug


  It went beyond being annoying.  It was rude, disruptive behavior that got 
to
people.  Since I seemed to be such a fuddy duddy to the new progressive 
direction the list was taking, I left.  It was becoming something non-diesel. 
 
Svend was offered DOZENS of times, help in setting up a personal diatribe 
list for those that indeed wanted to be part of his audience.  He ignored all 

offers that I know of.  
  I was asked to come back by several members, as a moderator.  The 
whole issue left a very bad tase in my mouth as I do not care for internal 
squabbles and tend to leave them to their own demise.  However I've been 
with this list for probably around 10 years now.  It did quite well with the 
old 
decorum and was losing membership heavily with the new direction.  I was 
reluctantly willing to step back and moderate (which I have done ZERO of 
so far!)  :-)
  I have no personal beef with Svend nor do most that opposed his postings.  
They were simply no more appropriate than stepping up to an open mic at 
a PTA meeting and going on about the days football scores.
