re: sheep question

some vegetable oils dry readily (these are also the ones that will
become rancid fastest), some dry very slowly and become rancid even
more slowly
you'd want to consult a chart for IV (Iodine Value)
unfortunately, the less susceptible they are to drying and rancidity,
the thicker/more viscous they tend to be
i.e. palm oil, coconut oil, etc

it may be possible to find BioDiesel made from palm or coconut oil
(what's "in" properly-made BioD is just the oil itself,
"transesterified" - i.e. broken into shorter molecules so it's thinner,
less viscous
but they use alcohol and lye to do this, and sometimes there are trace
quantities of methanol and soaps in the BioD...)

I believe biodiesel made from ANY feedstock is much less likely to dry
or become rancid
it is used as a solvent as well as a fuel

it smells pretty good, might want to grab a sample
if you are in Europe there should be plenty available

some other options:

- citrus oil
this may be available organic, is very thin and will get everywhere,
and is a much more appealing and marketable product than diesel fuel
but it has STRONG odor and is expensive these days

- ethanol
don't know if an alcohol would do what you need, but this may be
available locally at fuel-type prices and can be made organically from
biomass

good luck
