Sorry to have made you uneasy Andrew. But that is definitely how I'm
feeling right now also. I will say that I feel better than I did when
I first raised the question a few days ago. Chris Goodwin, owner of
Frybrid offered some more detail following up on his original post.
In his followup, he explains that the face seal leaked biodiesel onto
the cam belt, the owner kept driving, belt turned to pasta, valves were
down, piston cam up, 6 bent valves. I'm no longer worrying that I
might destroy my engine. I think I would be more aware than this driver
was. Perhaps I wouldn't ever have problems with IP, but it seems more
prudent to get my IP resealed first, rather than wait for problems to
arise. (that seems almost like sticking my head in the sand, or
gambling -- and I don't like doing either.) So I'm not sure what I'm
going to do with mine just yet. I think I'll probably stick to B20
for the immediate future, until I can get the IP resealed. I think
I'll err on the side of caution.

(If you read my other email on this subject this morning, you can tell
that I'm wavering back and forth). :-( But this definitely seems the
safer route for me.

That is a very good question. I'd also like to know exactly what
should be replace on my pump to ensure that I don't end up paying for
unneeded work -- yet at the same time not leaving vulnerable parts
unattended to.
