Many years ago, needing a fuse block to replace the corroded old one on 
my '80 Rabbit Diesel, I called up Recycled Bugs Inc. for a new one.  
Owing to the incompetence that was the hallmark of that company (at 
least at that time, I've not given them the opportunity to mess up 
since), I ended up with a gas model fuse block.  I didn't get around to 
dealing with it at the time and just put in a salvaged fuse block I 
found locally.  So now, ~10 years later, I'm digging through a pile of 
parts and find it again, needing it even less than I did back then. 

So, for re-wiring that g at s model 1975-1977 Rabbit or Scirocco that 
you're embarassed to tell your Diesel buddies about, I offer a 
practically new (installed once, quickly removed) fuse block with a full 
complement of fuses.  VW part number 171-941-821-A.  There's a little 
dirt and surface corrosion on one of the big lugs on back, which I will 
clean off. 

I'm thinking $25 delivered (at least to the lower 48).
