[Vwdiesel] Was: 5-speed trans wanted. Now info on trans.

So with all of this talk of the different transmissions, I've been curious 
about swapping the differential in my Jetta for one of a higher ratio. Mine 
is a 1982 5-speed. I'd like more of a highway ratio than what I've got, but 
not too much. Anyone have any info, or done this?
