[Vwdiesel] Need Good Used 1.6L Mechanical Lifter Head

Thank you to all who replied to my quest for a 1.6L Mechanical Lifter Head.

Several suggested the fuel injector boss could be welded back in place, and
I really wanted to try that route, but darn if I can find the broken off
piece! I know I had it at some point after purchasing the broken pickup, but
I probably tossed it, as I never really considered welding an option before

I was also given several leads on used heads. I'm pursuing a few options.

I'm in the market for a low cost, good used 1.6L Mechanical Lifter Head for
my '01 Rabbit Diesel Pickup. I'm trying to resurrect this little puppy after
the previous owner broke the #4 fuel injector boss.

I'd prefer a good flat head ready to slap on, but would consider those
needing minor work.

I'll be driving MA-AL-MS-AR-TX-MO-WI-OH-MA later this month, so if anyone
along that way has one, I could swing by and pickup and we could avoid the
whole shipping challenge.
