Yes, agree on all you say. But, we are not the norm
by any means. We mainly keep old diesels running
because we like to work on them and we understand
them. We like the fuel economy and we all hope to
burn WVO some day when time allows us to do the setup.
But, NOT the norm here on the east coast. Everyone
leases new gas sucker SUV's and Hummers for driving to
work and all the soccer moms who cart kids around in
Explorers and Epeditions. It is just sickening. I do
see a good bit of the Prius on the road, but only
about 1% of the cars. WE are .01% of the cars in NY
metro area sadly.....that is my view. Even when
driving around in summer on vacation, just never see
anything A2 or older, and never see any other diesels,
maybe once or twice a year.
