Although I am not familiar with Passet battery issues, my experience from living in Minn. until I moved to Calif. at age 36 in 1969, has been to buy & install the best & most powerful battery you can install. If you can easily enlarge where the battery sits to take a larger battery, why not do it? If you live in cold country, a trickle charger will help maintain the battery at a +70F in subzero temperatures & at full charge. The ill-fated GM diesels of the early '80s had two batteries in parallel for a reason.
Also re battery issues, the batteries that were in my diesel pusher RV are still going strong, & have to be at least 10 years old! However, I have them hooked up to a "battery tender" trickle charger & I suspect this is why they are still good.
