James, sad to hear of the demise of your Jetta but congrats on the the
Passat. (No I don't handle the tuning boxes anymore, the distributor
screwed me over) I have the Bentley CD manual if you want it. You
can get with them to determine how to activate all the features but it
is yours for the mailing cost. (LOREN same applies to the CD for the
early Passat I have if you want it.) We really loved ours, just
needed a bigger tow vehicle (thus the Jeep Grand Cherokee CDI). My 04
was over serviced but in a good way. The records indicate that the
previous owners had the oil changed every 5000 miles (such a waste of
money and synthetic oil) AND the dealer talked her into replacing the
timing belt at 75000 miles instead of 100000 miles. That means I
don't have to worry about that expense until 175000 miles. BTW for
those who might be interested, I have posted some pictures on my
website of my "new" 04 Jetta and my 82 Vanagon Diesel Westy. Hayden
